More Birthday Challenge Entries

I'm so happy for the good turn out for my first ever Birthday Challenge. Aside from the first five entries I posted several days ago, I received eight more entries.

Their entries are just wonderful. Here they are:

Chiqui used this LO entitled Loved by Us as inspiration.

Layout # 11 - Karen Ngo-Flipino's Butterfly Garden


This is Karen's first time to join a challenge. She scraplifted my Sama Shoes LO.

Journaling: This is our first visit to Baluarte, in Vigan, the home of former Gov. Chavit Singson. This pictures were taken inside the butterfly garden. Feb. 10, 2008

Ching scraplifted my "My Pride and Joy' page. Her LO is entitled Curiosity.

JOURNALING: You’ll find thousands watching the Annual Michigan Festival of Vintage cars on Woodward Avenue from the City of Pontiac to the Detroit river. There is a little mystery, as to what make of car will come rolling by next which goes a long way to making an exciting afternoon.

Tita Marian used this birthday page I made for Issa's birthday celebration last 2006 as inspiration. She created a LO for her granddaughter using these materials: Imagination Project papers, Fabriano cardstock, My Little Shoebox Chipboard letters, AC Foam Thickers.

Layout # 4 - Nina's Eto na ang Barkada

Like Ching, Nina chose to scraplift my "My pride and Joy" LO. Here is her interpretation:



JOURNALING: Robert met the members of Parokya ni Edgar (a local pop rock band) at UP (University of the Philippines) Fine Arts.
And the world has been a lot more colorful ever since.


Materials used: patterned paper - Sassafrass Lass, American Crafts, October Afternoon, KI Memories; felt letters - Making Memories (thanks, Bev! love them!) ; bingo card - Jenni Bowlin; others - cardstock, Dymo tape, rub-ons

The ones in the photo were her sis-in-law and older brother with the band. They're pretty good friends and this was done during a shoot for a print ad.

When it rains, it pours...

Now I believe in the saying that when it rains, it pours...The first three quarters of the year 2008 had been very fruitful for me as far as scrapbooking is concerned. I was able to complete a total of 140 layouts, a lot of mini albums and even altered items. Thanks to the contests and challenges I joined in.

I am posting some more prizes and RAKS I won from different scrapbooking sites in the US. I received two of them last Friday (November 7) and the other two yesterday (November 11). Thanks to Chiqui Gutierrez, her mom Tita Shirley (my former officemate) and her sister (Cherie - my prizes were shipped to her place in the US).
