I am Memory Lane Store's GDT for March

This is my second stint as Guest Designer, this time for Ms. Helen Chua's Memory Lane Store. It is indeed an honor to be chosen as her Guest Designer for the month of March. I am sharing this "title" with no other than Maybelle Ngo. Please do visit Memory Lane Store's Gallery where our projects are featured.

Helen gave me Scribble Scrabble patterned cardstocks to work on and from these I was able to create three LO's and three altered items. Here they are:

Altered item # 1 - Altered CD



Materials used: Scrabble Scrabble (Georgia's Collection - Flower Garden and Lavender), Prima flowers, fabric flowers, bling, ricrac, lace, fiber, brads, buttons, Sassafras Lass cardstock stickers painted with MM acrylic paint, cork board, 7 Gypsies rubons, Colorbox Fluid Chalk ink

Altered item # 2 - Altered Chopping Board

Journaling: Issa, For so long, I forgot what the word FRIENDSHIP means until you came. You brought back the meaning of this word into my life.It took someone like you to make me believe in the word FRIENDSHIP again. Thank you, Issa...Thanks for being a friend.

Journaling: Dannah, I hope you recognize what your Daddy has been doing for you. He may have been absent most of the time while you were growing up but remember that he had to do this to give us a good future, to give you wings to fly and help you realize all your dreams. Materials used: Scribble Scrabble (Sam's Collection - Big Circle and Multistripes), DCWV cardstock, 3 Bugs in a Rug Chitchat stickers, metal embellishments, brads, bling, Heidi Swapp chipboard, trimmings, Colobox Fluid Chalk Ink, fibers, staple wire

Journaling: Daddy, small that I am, guide me My hands are tiny and my staps are little, guide me. There are words that I don't understand, guide me. Sometimes there are things that I don't comprehend, guide me. Guide me while I am small so that I will grow up to be the man that you want me to be. Jigs @ 5, 2000
